Join us at The Museum of Boulder for a fun afternoon of live music, refreshments and education

What will be offered at the Museum the day of the event:

  • Colorado Representative Iman Jodeh — Colorado’s first Muslim and Palestinian legislator will be onsite to kick off the event
  • Live Music performed by Thauma accompanied by Catrene Malshy, a Lebanese born Palestinian who sings wonderful Arabic vocals and who teaches Dabke Dancing & Thauma a Palestinian band
  • Dabke dance lessons
  • Poetry reading and Slam performances
  • An artifact display area with books, art and cultural outfits
  • A solidarity area hosted by Jewish Voice for Peace:  https://www.jewishvoiceforpeace.org/
  • Write your name in Arabic and a fun craft opportunity
  • Tea readings
  • Snacks and refreshments provided by the Jerusalem Restaurant, Phoenician Kabob, and Saj Fresh Grill
  • Photo Booth: Try on traditional Palestinian dress
  • Artwork produced by children of Palestinian refugee camps
  • Several vendors will be selling items including handicrafts from Palestine, Olive Oil, Zatar and Keffiyehs from the Boulder Nablus Sister City
