Beit/Home ─ Palestine: Existence and Resistance

features works by a dozen Palestinian artists as well as four artists who have worked and exhibited in Palestine.  It also features delightful, often poignant paintings and drawings by Palestinian children.

Donated by the artists, the fearsome and powerful artworks in Beit/Home are deeply expressive of the lives of indigenous Palestinians, their homeland and centuries-long suffering.

The exhibition aspires to introduce our community to the art of Palestine and raise funds to support several Therapeutic Art Programs for children including cultural heritage dance programs (Dabke), theatre, photography, drawing, painting, and much more for youth in the Old City and the four Refugee Camps of Nablus in Palestine.

With every purchase of a work of art, 100% of the funds will go directly to Nablus!

Beit/Home tells stories of Palestine, which desperately need to be heard. It is curated by Jennnifer Heath with Margart Haydon on behalf of the Boulder-Nablus Sister City Project, a people-to-people initiative working to link citizens in Nablus, Palestine with those in Boulder.
